Welcome SB Nation's Newest Golf Blog: Snap Hook Herald!

It's with great pleasure that I can announce and introduce you to SB Nation's third golf blog: Snap Hook Herald.  Jamie RS, formerly of his own Crosscourt Birdies (a blog that blended tennis and golf) and then Jamie in the Rough, is now doing his own golf blog.  More often than not, it'll focus on women's golf, but Jamie has an eye for the whole sport.

In his first post at Snap Hook Herald, Jamie takes a look at why he became interested in women's golf in the first place.  It's a good trip down memory lane behind the '98 US Women's Open playoff battle between Se Ri Pak and Jenny Chausiriporn.

I'm looking for a lot of good things to come from Jamie and Snap Hook Herald.  Welcome to the ever-expanding family, Jamie!  Hound Dog and I are happy to have you on board.

Aww Court,

ya do love her…now, doesn’t that give ya a warm and fuzzy feeling, kinda like getting some hot Chicken soup when your kind of achey?…STUB

aww geez – here we go again… :-D I have never said I don’t like her ! I despise the hype machine around her (thanks xxx Golf Channel) that made it impossible for her to grow up normally and to let her game develop without all the excess pressure…not to mention the circus sideshows. Didn’t care for the garbage she threw out about playing college golf and playing on the PGA Tour that just fed the machine. And if I had to spend an evening with her, I’m thinking a gag would be a must – but she seems like a good kid with a lot of game for the most part.
