A Remarkable Week & Year for Waggle Room
First of all, I'd like to say thanks to Rob Matre for joining our staff this week to shoot the Tour Championship at East Lake. He did a great job. This was Waggle Room's first time in expanding the staff beyond just myself and just writing. I think this was a huge success, and I hope that Rob will be able to join us in future events.
Second, Waggle Room had a great moment this week when our blog was featured on ESPN SportsCenter's Blog Buzz feature. On Friday morning, I started receiving quite a number of compliments for being on SportsCenter. I had no idea how, but quickly realized that my piece on the first round from Atlanta was quoted. It was probably the biggest exposure that this blog has seen in a single moment other than when we have been featured in blog posts over at the Devil Ball Golf shop. It was the first time that Waggle Room has been on television.
This has been a great year for this blog and myself. I have never made more radio appearances than I have this year. I have never had more eyeballs watching what I write, or participating in the discussion that I have always hoped would ensue. I reported from inside the ropes at the US Open for crying out loud! Bloggers have made serious progress in the golf world and getting some of the recognition that they deserve. I hope that Waggle Room will be able to continue to lead the charge.
Thanks to all of you who make this site what it is. I may write the material, but without great folks to read it, critique it, and have a fun discussion with, none of this would have been possible.
As you'll see in the coming weeks, Waggle Room and SB Nation Golf are expanding. We mean business. With the voices that are coming here, you'll find SB Nation Golf to be a great place not just for this site, but for all golf coverage.
2010 will be a banner year for us and we can't wait to start.

Well Done!
Congratulations RB. I still look at TravelGolf for their blogs – but now find yours and your community more interesting.
Thanks Ryan!
Don’t post much, but read daily. Thanks for all of your hard work and dedication (and to everyone who also makes this possible) – it doesn’t go unnoticed!
