I'm Looking For YOU - Fan Bloggers & Reporters Wanted

If you're a frequent visitor to Waggle Room, you know that I like to write.  A lot.  But, one of my favorite things about this blog is the 500 or so of you that have signed up to be members here.  I know it can be kinda scary to commit to a free website, but you do it and I love you for it.  Even better than that, we have some great commenters.  You all liven the debate and make my day with your insights.

And on top of all of that, members of Waggle Room can write their own blog posts.  At my discretion, I put the most interesting & timely ones on the home page for everyone to see.  But, only a handful of you take advantage of Fan Posts and Fan Shots.

Today, I'm inviting all of you to do two things:

  1. If you're not a member of Waggle Room already, sign up to become a member.
  2. If you run a blog, thought about running a blog, or just want to write some posts of your own, become - what I am terming - a Waggle Room co-blogger.

Look, for as much as I love to write and hog up these beautiful golfing plains with prose, random cultural references, and other stuff, I also love reading what you have to say.  I read countless golf blogs, news sites, and other information sources & weed out a bunch of it to find my content.  I know you do the same, too.  And I'd love it if you share your findings and thoughts here.

If you're already a writer, that's ok too.  You can double post.  I don't mind a little cross-pollination.  I can take advantage of your writing insight and skills, and you can take advantage of Waggle Room's pretty darn good traffic.  It's a win-win.

If you don't write a blog and are too intimidated to hop on the Blogger, Tumblr, or Wordpress train to design your own, then start here.  You can reach our Facebook fans, Twitter followers, and casual everyday audience here at the site.

Post about whatever you'd like related to golf.  Even if it's not at all related extremely vague in its relationship  to golf, would love to hear about it.

And, here's my promise to you.  If you stop by, blog every now and then, and become a fan favorite, then I'll create a special links section to all of your work - effectively a de facto blog of your own!  Right here!

So, what'd'ya say?  You in?  (Another cultural reference - this time, to Discovery channel's Cash Cab.)

Whoever you peg to

Co-Write has got to be able to take the beating they deserve when they write bad articles

One of the reasons i like coming here is because I can call some of your article names and you still reply nicely

I actually mean that too….

I know full well that I can write some real crappy stuff from time to time, so I gotta man up when it blows, right?

If any writer is too thin-skinned to be able to do that, then get out of the business.

Email me any comments or questions at ryan@thegolfnewsnet.com.
