There's A Dog on The Solheim Cup Team
No, really. (Don't go there.) Look at this team photo.

That dog is Bunker, the pet of Rich Harvest Farms' superintendent. And, yes, he has a credential around his neck - because a stray dog on a course would be kicked out for not having a ticket around his neck instead.
The picture was inspired by the American team picture taken at the first Ryder Cup.

yes – he was the idea of Juli Inkster – an attempt to help Michelle Wie with her green reading – but the Solheim Cup organizers said he could only be a mascot due to gender restrictions. :-D

Either Michelle Wie is not 6'8" like I was told
or there are a few 6’6" players on the team.
...from the land of pleasant living, Baltimore.

it’s that 6’8" height that helps her hit all those 400 yard drives :-D

Why is Wie on the team?
Did I miss where she did something on tour?

Wie was a Captain's Selection
She finished 13th on the Solheim Cup points list and was playing three times better than any other possible picks.
