John Daly Will Have to Leave the RV at Home - He's Playing the Australian Open
Just eight months ago, John Daly was playing in the Australian Open when an Aussie named Brad Clegg snapped his photo during an inopportune time. Daly, likewise, snapped. He grabbed Clegg's camera, slammed it against a nearby tree, and vowed never to return.

Well, he's going back to the Land Down Under. Daly will play in the Australian Open at La Perouse in December.
Daly has a history of incidences in Australia and with cameras. As the AP notes, Daly had of of his patented meltdowns at the '02 Australian PGA.
After taking a triple-bogey 7 on his last hole at the 2002 Australian PGA championships, Daly threw his putter and ball into a greenside pond and later failed to sign for a 78 on his scorecard, disqualifying himself from the tournament.
Then, on his Twitter account, Daly explained his withdrawl from the PGA Championship at Hazeltine - due to a back injury eminating from him stopping in mid-swing during a tournament when he heard a camera snap.

Tell the story right – Clegg had been making an ass of himself all day in front of Daly – stepping in front of him while he was walking to take pictures, snapping during his swing, etc etc etc. It wasn’t a single picture and Daly flew off the handle.
There were witnesses who backed up Daly’s story.
Good for Daly – not letting one bad apple ruin his view of the whole country.

I did tell the story right, and I didn’t even say that Daly was wrong (though the behavior was uncalled for).
