What the Blogosphere is Saying Today About the PGA
There is a lot of good stuff out there today on the topic of YE Yang, Tiger Woods, Paddy Harrington, and the PGA Championship. Rather than just give you my perspective, I wanted to point you to some of the other great writing done.
Chris Chase at Yahoo! breaks down the debacle that was Paddy Harrington's run in at the 8th hole on Sunday.
At the same shop, Jay Busbee is calling Yang's win the greatest upset in golf history. (Here's a fun one: what would have been bigger? Watson winning or Yang winning?)
Completely ignoring that drivel from his Fanhouse cohort Jay Mariotti, Shane Bacon has a really solid recap of Yang's win and how he did it.
Geoff Shackelford collected the best from the mainstream guys and has them in one big post. Did a great job as always.
Deadspin rightly cedes the victory to Yang more than the loss to Woods. Rumors and Rants was not quite so kind.

Jay is a great golf writer, but if he puts yesterday ahead of Frances Ouimet beating not only Vardon but also Ted Ray, then he’s just wrong, dead wrong. Ouimet was a 19 year old AMATEUR with almost no national or international experience. Yang has beaten Woods before already.
