Hazeltine: Grounds Toxic To Tiger & Normal Championship Celebrations
What is it with Hazeltine and the last two winners to hoist the Wanamaker trophy there? Rich Beem kicked off the practice in 2002 with a shimmy that makes the women in Minneapolis sweat to this day.
Then, on Sunday, YE Yang went to the tug & jerk with the golf bag to express his joy at winning the PGA Championship over Tiger Woods.
So, what's better? The Yang bag hoist or the Beemer Shuffle?

Hazeltine also produced major championship winners
Payne Stewart, Hollis Stacy, and Tony Jacklin. All of who won multiple major championships.

Yang
Never seen the golf bag thing before and it seemed fitting after he took down the world’s #1 player. Beem’s shuffle looked really silly at the time and looks even worse to me today.
Been a Reds fan since 1996 and am desperate for a playoff run.

Give Beemer credit for keeping it short. :-)
What Yang did is called a Snatch – just lifting the bag straight up over the head from the ground. Pretty good form ! (lol)
I liked both celebrations for the pure joy both men showed.
