Watch as Ernie Johnson and Ian Baker-Finch are at a loss when talking about Rory McIlroy's talent. And by talent, they mean his girlfriend Holly Sweeney.
The video is only further proof of what Dan Jenkins said last night at Hazeltine as he was honored for his storied career. From Lawrence Donegan's golf blog:
And you guys are far more interesting than the athletes, you really are. I think we all are. Who wants to talk to an athlete? Especially a golfer.

I know that Donegan was being nice – honoring one of the best golf writers of all time – but come on. If it wasn’t for the golfers, these journalists would have to work for a living. Jenkins makes his living with words – the players make their living with the clubs. I’m pretty sure nobody would pay to see Jenkins and Donegan play golf. Telling players that they should tell stories like Jenkins during their press conferences is lunacy. Guys like Fuzzy Zoeller aren’t very common in a game like golf.
Now – back to the video of Rory’s girlfriend. :-)
