What Is Hanging Out of Michelle Wie's Pants?

We're on a picture kick today at Waggle Room, but this one isn't quite as obvious as Justin Rose and Camilo Villegas giving the one-finger salute to Ian Poulter's camera in a Marquis Jet.

Instead, this one is tricky. Tricky. Tricky.

Michelle Wie threw out the first pitch at the LA Dodgers-Atlanta Braves game on Saturday night. She even managed to avoid getting injected with steroids by an overzealous Manny Ramirez. But, here's a picture of Wie throwing a baseball that has me scratching my head.

What is hanging out of her pants, or shirt? No, seriously. What is that? Upon further inspection, ~~these are loafers~~ I can't tell either.

I mean, it could be a lanyard, but that's hanging out too low. Could be some kind of belt, but it doesn't show in the other pictures. Honestly, what is it? I'm stumped.

beats me – I’m just trying to figure out where she is on the field. I see the protective netting that runs behind home plate…so she appears to be throwing out the first pitch…into left field.

I’d have to guess it’s a belt. Luckily, I was sitting over a poker table when this would have been going on, so I was spared watching this. Wasn’t she supposed to be getting ready for the Solheim Cup ? A part of the hard working team ? :-)
