PrintWhat a difference a year makes. A new temporary venue at Aronimink hosts the AT&T National, but Tiger Woods is not master of ceremonies. This was the scene last year as the tournament host interviewed the champion.
This was the scene at the 18th green at Congressional during the trophy presentation ceremony at the 2009 AT&T National. Tiger Woods was presented the trophy by a representative from AT&T. But, in true host fashion, he interviewed the winner about his struggle to win the title. In other words, he talked to himself.

My brother and I were joking about this...
like whether he would present the trophy to himself and who would congratulate him when he walked off 18. It just shows that Tiger has a sense of humor. People think he’s cold because of his public persona because they confuse focus with personality. Good stuff.

It was really pretty funny. I was thinking that the AT&T lady or the chair of his foundation might chat with him, but he handled it all himself!

Well, since I have been
designated a “Tiger Hater”, it would only be reasonable that I thought the self interview was stupid. Now, watching the LPGA this weekend, I saw it again 50 times promoting the tournament…..again I thought it was stupid all 50 times. So, I guess there is nothing Tiger could do that I would like…….except one thing……LOSE….:)
