The folks behind the 2010 US Women's Open at Oakmont CC contacted me today to let me know about a pretty cool offer that they're running.  If you buy certain tickets to the Women's Open there next year, then you get catapulted to the front of the line for the 2016 US Open held there also.

Purchase one or more Trophy Club Passes or Championship Weekly Passes to the 2010 U.S. Women's Open now, and receive a guaranteed advance opportunity, ahead of the general public, to purchase tickets to the 2016 U.S. Open.  Ticket buyers will also receive a complimentary 12-month USGA membership.

The tickets either cost $150 or $250 for the week at the USWO.  Not a bad deal really - and it's good through September 1.

The USGA seems to be into this whole synergy thing.  First it was the 2014 US Open and Women's Open at Pinehurst #2, now this ticket offer for the Opens and Oakmont.
