If You Could Go to a Golf Tournament for Free, Would You?

This week, the Champions Tour (formerly the Senior PGA Tour - the 50+ guys) are in Minnesota for the 3M Championship.  The tournament is being contested at TPC Twin Cities and features a pretty decent field with Nick Price, Andy Bean, Tom Kite, and Bernhard Langer.  You would think that a decent number of people would come out to watch those guys play.

Now, add in that Chi Chi Rodriguez and Arnold freakin' Palmer are there playing as well.  And they're holding an autograph session.  Maybe you might stop by if you were in the area?

Where are all of the Minnesotans?  Golf Channel is broadcasting the 3M Championship, like they normally do as home of the Champions Tour, and it looks very barren out there.  For God' sake, there are two golf legends out there and some other very historically significant players.  And nothing?
