At Least Golf Bloggers Don't Get Called "Digital Dickweeds"
For every golf blogger and golf blog fan out there, you probably wonder if golfers, the mainstream media, and the Tours read what you have to say. I don't know that for certain. But, we do know that bloggers get slammed in general for their writing, the ability to be anonymous, and their stealing of materials.
Thankfully, golf blogging hasn't gotten under enough people's skin to have them get callled a "dickweed" on air.
CNBC's Dennis Kneale (who actually knows almost nothing about the stock market) get slammed by financial bloggers incessantly. He's called Beaker (after the Muppets character) among other expletives. Well, Kneale doesn't like that and used the bully pulpit known as CNBC Reports to lash out at bloggers - on air.
Gawker has the footage for us.
So, remember, next time one of us calls out Commissioner Bivens, Wally Uihlein, or the target of your choice - at least this doesn't happen to you.
