The Golf Watch made a great point today about having Nick Faldo serve as both your lead analyst for CBS' golf telecast of the Memorial and commercial pitchman for the new TaylorMade Burner irons.
CBS did a hell of a job with the telecast overall. They took some of my suggestions about telling the story of the tournament and it really turned out great. This was really the only knock on the coverage for the weekend, but it is a big deal.

Dang !! I didn’t know you had so much pull with the networks – good job ! :-)
I like the Faldo-Taylormade commercial – not that my ball striking is in any way comparable to Faldo’s…except that we both swing right handed and hold the same end of the club.
