109th US Open Final Round Pairings of Interest

The final round of the 2009 US Open will begin at 5:45pm ET.  Like for round three, the players will go off in pairs off of both 1 and 10 tees.  Below are several of the pairings of interest, and when and where they start.

All groupings listed are going off of the first tee.

6:25pm - Tiger Woods (+1) and Michael Sim (+2)

6:57pm - Sean O'Hair (-1) and Graeme McDowell (E)

7:05pm - Todd Hamilton (-1) and Bubba Watson (-1)

7:13pm - Retief Goosen (-1) and Mike Weir (-2)

7:21pm - Phil Mickelson (-2) and Hunter Mahan (-2)

7:29pm - David Duval (-3) and Ross Fisher (-3)

7:37pm - Ricky Barnes (-8) and Lucas Glover (-7)

I’ll be pulling for Barnes – but that Mickelson / Mahan pairing could be very interesting to watch. Mahan can go very low if he gets on a roll. Should be fun to watch if he and Mickelson can make things happen.

I have to say, though...

…that I’m not nearly as irritated as usual with Miller this week. Maybe it’s just because the whole NBC crew seems a little punch drunk from having been on the air all damn weekend.

Well – it took Johnny until the very last pairing to figure out that the first fairway is tough to hit – and I’m STILL wondering who the NEXT to last group is since Barnes and Glover are the last pair, and Duval and Fisher are the SECOND to last group. Who is in between those two groups ?
