Ken Green Has Had His Lower Leg Amputated

JACKSON, Mississippi (AFP) — Ken Green, a five-time US PGA Tour winner who has played the past two seasons on the Champions Tour, had his lower right leg amputated Monday due to injuries suffered in a car crash.

Green was resting and in good condition following the surgery, according to agent Kevin Richardson, who said that Green will work through rehabilitation, be fitted for a prosthetic leg and hopes to return to golf and competition.
