Usually, I try to do make this feature one that highlights a particular blog in the postcard, but I'm featuring one of the more controversial holes in golf this week.  Don't fret, though!  Blog linkage is here, too.

First up, Shane Bacon corraled some of us golf bloggers together for a new pick 'em segment that we're trying out this week.  I weighed in with my pick of Phil Mickelson, but see who everyone else picked.  Take that, Golf Channel's Fantasy Island!

Then, a tip of the hat to the PGA Tour, which really does a great job of covering its best tournament very well.  This includes adding some new Twitter accounts for their .com personalities, including Win McMurray - host of their PGATour.com Today show.  In fact, their Twitter account - @PGATOUR - is having a poll to determine which group they will follow in the morning and afternoon.  (Guess who won this morning?)

The postcard may be from the 17th hole, but Sawgrass presents plenty of tough par 3s.  My favorite is 13, but Steve DiMeglio walks you through them.

Jay Busbee has the details on who won the Wednesday contest among the caddies to see who could stick their approach at 17 closest to the pin hole.  The proceeds from the event benefit the Bruce Edwards Foundation for ALS research.
