New to Waggle Room? Let Me Help You Out.

Hi there.  I'm Ryan Ballengee and I'm the editor here at Waggle Room.  Taking a look at who comes to Waggle Room, from where, and such (Big Brother is watching), I know we have a pretty decent number of new readers and lurkers.

What's a lurker?  You're a lurker if you read the site every once in a while, but never join the site or leave a comment on the posts.

Well, let me tell you personally - I'd love for you to join the site and our conversation!  Our site has grown to have over 300 members in the past year or so and we're always looking to grow! 

So, like a membership drive at your local PBS station, I'm on a quest to get to 500 members.  It's free to sign up, really easy to do, and you can actually win prizes here!

Look to your left and check out the "Start Posting on Waggle Room" link.  Create an account name for yourself.  You can use a Yahoo! or Open ID if you already have one.  And that's it!  Now you're in for life.

What can you do with the membership?  Well, you can post stories from the golf world, or things that you find interesting.  Hell, I'll even let you promote your own blog.  So long as you don't try to peddle Viagra or anything like that, I'm happy to have you contribute.

I've always said that it is the community of people that makes Waggle Room worth reading.  And I'd love to add to it with you.
