Postcard from The Aussie Golfer
Since I was a little delayed in doing the postcard this week, I wanted to get to it before the middle of the week. Here it is!
The Aussie Golfer has the news today that heralded Australian amateur Scott Arnold has turned pro and will make his first pro start at the European Tour's European Open next week alongside Shane Lowry.
One Eyed Golfer - home of the Golden Monocle Award (I'm nominated, vote for me) - takes apart Jack Nicklaus' assertion that you can't really use stats to compare eras.
Shane Bacon highlights a golf GPS for your BlackBerry called CaddyHawk. For the record, I'll be posting a review on the Green Finder GPS for your BlackBerry or iPhone later this week. I'll leave it to you to compare.
On Seriously Addicted to Golf, I got a lot of humor out of this older post vis a vis Orlando Golf Blogger. The USGA has revised the rules for senior players and there are hilarious consequences.
Wei Under Par continues her series with Paige Mackenzie and Anna "cleavage" Grzebien (her nickname, not mine). This time, it's a vid on the circus that is the LPGA Tour.
The Real Pros of the LPGA Tour: It's A Circus! from Stephanie Wei on Vimeo.
Armchair Golf Blog took a look at Google's archive of Life Magazine photos and found some great photos of golf's greats.
NiceBallz is reviewing the Srixon AD-333 golf ball. They're doing so good over there that PUMA Golf contacted them to guest blog at their site.

OEG’s piece is definitely worth a read…though it might be a little disconcerting for RB to read. He uses statistics to prove the ridiculous nature of usings statistics to compare eras of golfing greats.
"this ball will fit in that fairway"
It’s pretty funny stuff, though I may not necessarily agree that using stats is ridiculous. :)
