The Decider: The Most Important Thing to Live Golf
I've been trying to come up with a name for a poll post for a couple of days now and I finally settled on The Decider. It's not so much because that was a nickname for President George W. Bush - though having graphics because of that nickname help - so much as it seemed pretty succinct.
So, here we go.

Hmm – I’m guessing the RB vote went to selection #4 ? :-D
When I go to a tournament, I spend more time sitting on the range than any other place. You get to see a lot more guys up close hitting more shots than you’ll get to see all day on the course – but I also like making a loop of the course (except for Sugarloaf – it’s a nearly 8 mile walk if you’re playing ! More than that if you’re outside the ropes and have to take all the detours). Some courses have great holes to sit and watch several groups come through.

I love watching players hit on the range. The consistency with which they strike each ball is really impressive to me.

I was going to do a club fitting one afternoon following a Tour Championship round. After watching Luke Donald hit balls for about 30 minutes, I headed up to the course to do the fitting and was hitting balls as well as I had ever hit them – and I attribute that to watching Luke Donald and getting a feel for his tempo and watching his move. For a little while, I could repeat that feel.
