Why People Come to Waggle Room
In recent weeks, I had been noticing some keyword trends that were driving traffic to Waggle Room. One of the hits for a couple of weeks was "Brittany Lincicome wet shirt." Classy.
So, in light of that, I figured I would expose all of you...
...to the underbelly of the Internet. May I present to you the top 20 keywords that have driven traffic to Waggle Room this year. Bear in mind, this accounts for only about 8% of our hits.

Keywords
Hysterical!
While Shakapatomous also does well on www.golfishardtv.com (Golf is Hard TV), “hard tv” and it’s derivation “free hard tv” are consistently the top keywords. No clue what folks expect to see when searching for that, but there you have it.

HA!
You have no idea how many people have stumbled upon my site with the keywords, “John Daly & naked women.” Imagine how disappointed they were when they arrived at Real Women Golf. ;o)

THIS year ??
Hmm – real – you posting pictures of Daly and naked women again ?? I thought you stopped that :-D
Who is Jacqueline Gagne ?
Kenny Perry’s daughter was in the news last year before the Ryder Cup because it got out that she is/was a Tennessee Titans cheerleader.
How did Eddie Lowery get in there ? I don’t remember talking about him in well over a year.
Kelly Tilghman married ? WHAT ??
Mickelson’s house was the first half of last year, as was Tiger’s.
So all of these numbers are searches in 2009 ?

These are all from this year, believe it or not. Although some of these stories are older, people are still searching them today.
Jackie Gagne is the woman who claimed to have liek 14 holes in one in a really short time span.
Kenny Perry’s daughter came up a TON while Kenny was in contention at Augusta.
Eddie Lowery is an oldie.
Mickelson and Tiger is old, but I bet people are curious still.
The Kelly Tilghman searches intrigue me. Probably the most searched woman.

Yeah, really lame story, but the exercise was to show how ridiculous the internet is :)

Heh...
I don’t seem to get too many wacky searches anymore. They’re mostly all at least somewhat relevant. I’ve gotten a number of people obviously looking for the Stack and Tilt swing and don’t quite know what it’s called so they’re searching for “rack and stack golf” and things like that.
I do have one amusing search from the past 30 days: “drawing aaaaaand fading a golf shot”. Apparently Google seems to concentrate heavily on drawing the ball so this person had to stress the “aaaaaaand”. Whoa, Google…not just drawing. I need fading too.

Haaaahahaha, that’s awesome. Including the emphasis on the first syllable in Google search.
