The Paula Creamer Stomach Mystery

PrintSomeone noted - I believe it was Beth Daniel - that Paula Creamer seems to play sick an awful lot. At the Kraft Nabisco Championship, she was on a very restricted diet in the hopes that her stomach problems would end. Well, they still haven't.
It is said exposed stomach that is bothering her.
Steve DiMeglio of USA Today mentions Creamer's woes in a recent piece.
Creamer, the world's No. 4-ranked female golfer and a winner of eight events on the LPGA tour, first battled stomach problems at the ADT Championship last November. Then she dealt with the same problems earlier this year in Singapore and Thailand and had to withdraw from an event in Phoenix.
"It's difficult. I don't feel like I'm myself. I'm on a lot of medication, but I just have to deal with it right now," Creamer said Wednesday on the eve of the Corona Championship in Morelia, Mexico, the LPGA tour's first event in three weeks. "Hopefully, we can get to the bottom of what's going on. The doctors don't know what it is yet."
Interesting that doctors are yet to be able to find a cause. Mystery stomach ailments are nothing new to Dr. Ryan. In my very limited experience, I've found that it usually has something to do with diet. It could be a food allergy, a need to just go vegetarian for a while, cut out glutten from the diet, etc. Or, as a commenter at USA Today mentioned - a parasite. Ok, probably not a parasite.

I picked this one because of a post I remembered from golf.com or something a year ago about LPGA golfers not afraid to show some skin on course.

which was just silly – they had it backwards. It’s not that these women aren’t afraid to show skin on the course – it was that nobody told them that it is a bit inappropriate on a professional level. (and hey – I love seeing feminine skin – but this isn’t the beach – and it’s a bit hypcritical to want to show skin and then say that they aren’t sex objects.)

That last point is very true. Showing a little stomach in the follow through isn’t bad though. Wearing a low cut dress would be a tad unprofessional, haha.

ha, we all just played junior golf together in WA and AJGA. it was our “washington” table. we gathered around for the photo. but yeah, i know people! haha, just kidding. i posted it bc it really always has been one of my fave pics…it wasn’t to sound self-impt, actually only the opposite. :)
