We told you a little while ago about Phil Bundy, who is on a quest at age 43 to find his way to the PGA Tour after a stint away from the professional game.  Being a genuinely nice man and having a MBA from my alma mater University of Maryland makes me intrigued by his progress.

Well, Phil has some competition in the "40+ year old guy trying to become a professional golfer" category.  The competition is in the form of Jon Fitzgerald.  He is 42 years old and working to become a professional golfer.

Surrounding myself with the right team of golf and fitness instructors, doing the research and committing the time, the experience will be documented. From instructional tools to equipment changes, the progress and the obstacles, this site and blogs will track the project.

Well, that February post at his blog has turned into a website and a documentary taht will debut this week at the Newport Beach Film Festival.  (Who knew there was one?)

Both his website and the documentary side have some video clips from the film or preview it.

Now, all of this is cool, but what I really want to know is if we can put together a match between Phil and Jon.  What do you say, gentlemen?
