LPGA Alabama Swing is Done
There was a lot of excitement in Alabama when the 2009 LPGA schedule was released because it featured a fall two-step of tournaments in the state - the Bell Micro LPGA Classic and the Navistar LPGA Classic.

The Bell Micro LPGA was played for the first time last year as a full field event to replace the Mitchell Company Tournament of Champions. The Bell Micro, though, has suddenly been moved off of the 2009 schedule and into a slot in April of 2010's schedule.
The Press-Register reports the story, but doesn't provide a reason for the change. The LPGA is expected to make an announcement today on the story.

It's a CONSPIRACY, I say ! :-)
They’re trying to get rid of tournaments won by Angela Stanford !!! :-D
"this ball will fit in that fairway"
No
Seon Hwa Lee has won 4 tournaments, 3 of which aren’t played any more unless you consider the HSBC Singapore the HSBC Matchplay’s replacement. Can the NW Arkansas tournament’s demise be far off?
I do remember you mentioning that. Maybe Angela is the new target.

Haha, that would be a heck of a lot of work to keep that nice woman out of the winner’s circle.
