Mickelson Win, Tiger's Presence Boost NBC Golf Ratings
Sports Media Watch has the details on this weekend's ratings for the CA Championship. The Sunday rating drew a 3.6 - on Selection Sunday, no less - and was up 9% from last year. Clearly, Tiger's presence aided the rating. But, so did Phil Mickelson being in contention. He helped drive golf ratings to their highest levels since Tiger's injury in his win at Riviera on CBS. Mickelson moves the needle, people!
