Greg Norman and Chrissy Evert Need to Stop Alluding to Their Sex Lives

It's sad, but true, that one of my takeaways from Rich Lerner's always informative Hooks and Cuts was this:

Spent Wednesday with Greg Norman and Chris Evert for a future story. Norman's taken up tennis in the last two years and is already very good, holding his own with the 18-time Grand Slam champion on the other side of the net. When they were finished, I said to Greg, "Hey you're pretty good and you have a fairly good teacher as well." With his arm around Chrissy he cracked, "Not only do I have a great instructor, but I get to sleep with her when the lesson's over!"

Greg, man, I'm glad that you're getting laid at 50+. But, it cost you $100 million to divorce your first wife.

$100 million to be able to get it on with your tennis instructor? The adult industry would tell you that could be done for a LOT cheaper.

apparently you’ve never met her. she may not be the least attractive woman on the plant, but her personality drops her way down.

Love Mr. Norman, but...

I agree with you on this one. Mr. Norman was the first golfer I ever followed—long before I fell in love with the game. Those comments have a pretty high ick factor . He’s a cool guy, he doesn’t need to share so much.
