Around SBN: Explaining Jeremy Lin's Early, Surprising Success

LPGA on GNN - 3/10/09

On this week's episode:

We start by talking about what Ji Yai Shin accomplished in her fourth LPGA Tour win.  We also wondered how come players are having such a hard time holding leads early on this season.  Finally, we close with San Diego Union-Tribune golf reporter Tod Leonard to talk about the LPGA Tour's return to Torrey Pines this fall.

Angela Stanford did not run down or even catch up to Michelle Wie. Wie backed up to Stanford, then Stanford put the hammer down.

Stanford did catch up with some solid play (which is catching up in my mind because of the windy conditions). Once she had an opportunity, she seized, was steady, and won.
