Report: Woods Father for Second Time
Tod Leonard of the San Diego Union-Tribune is reporting that Elin Woods has had the family's second child on Sunday.
Woods became a father for the second time when his wife, Elin, gave birth to a son, a source with ties to the Woods family told The San Diego Union-Tribune.
No announcement was made about the birth, and Woods' representatives did not return phone calls and e-mails.
We will probably get some kind of confirmation in the next day or so. I hope it went well for the Woods family.

Charlie Axel Woods is the name I saw.
There was no explanation of “Axel”. I can’t see Tiger naming his kid after Axl Rose – and the only other “Axel” I can think of is “Axel Foley” from the Beverly Hills Cop movies.
Any others ?

could it be some unpublicized member of Elin’s family?
Truth has a well-known liberal bias.

very possible
why not ? But I was wondering we would see him in one of those red and black leather jackets from the movie. :-)

Perhaps
I posted this around 1am last night when there hadn’t been an official announcement. But I have no idea from where that middle name came. I like it though.

The name Axel
Is quite common in Scandinavia. I played football against a Axel Philraldi in High School.

The research fiction writers sometimes do
You look for common names for a certain nationality. I needed names for identical twin Norwegian sisters for one of my online fiction stories. What did I come up with? Hanna and Hedda Mycklbust.

Mycklbust
Sure sounds like an ode to the 2006 Winged Foot Open!
