Great Wrap Up
Nice video, it’s quite a challenge to cover and distill such a massive show. So many great products, plus some not-so-great ones. :o)
…sorry to have missed meeting you at the show.

Like you
I was only there for one shining day. Joe from GolfKnickers asked if you would be there and I said that I didn’t know. We’ll meet one day :) Liked the pics on your site, too.

WAY too much to cover...
…You got those really cool carts that are catching on in golf towns and neighborhoods. (they leave the speedometer in kph so you can say you’re doing "70"). There were at least 3 knickers companies – all very cool – but I wanted to see knickers in the Loud Mouth fabrics. (Loud Mouth is the company that remade the Johnny Miller “Houndstooth pants” from a couple of US Opens ago)
That 2-Thumb Grip was less interesting than the putting targets at the same booth. Very cool idea that catches the ball between two discs (top and bottom) if the ball hits solidly in the middle, or is moving slow enough to fall in from the side – but will not hold it if it’s moving too fast on the sides. (perfectaputt.co.uk)
To give you an idea of what Ryan was trying to do in a single day…the convention center hall is 1/2 mile long and almost 1/4 mile wide, with two levels of additional small rooms outside the main hall running the length of the hall to house 1,100 exhibitors. There were almost 100 aisles – so to do no more than walk the entire show, you would have to cover almost 25 miles. (I was there all three days plus demo day and didn’t get anywhere close to seeing everything)

It was an enormous show
and with 1 day to do a lot of things that I wanted to get done, I had to really pick and choose. I’m hoping to do something with Golf Knickers and Loud Mouth Golf in the spring – so maybe those knickers aren’t far away.

Loud Mouth...
…they said they could make pretty much anything you would like – so you might be able to get some of those fabrics in knickers !

Nice wrap on show, Ryan
It was my first PGA Show, and I was overwhelmed, especially on Day 1. You definitely need a plan.

Next time
I’ll definitely give myself two days to get in what I want to see!

even 2's not enough !
I was there all week and didn’t get even close to seeing everything interesting. Even skipping the things you know aren’t new, that’s a lot of ground to cover, and when you find something that you like, you can blow 20 minutes before you know it.
(Definitely pick up an Orange Whip – it’s a chick magnet !) :-)
