911 Call Placed to Tiger Woods' House Overnight

WKMG-TV in Orlando, Florida is reporting that 911 rescue vehicles were called to Tiger Woods' Isleworth home overnight.  Orange County Fire officials confirmed the report but did not name who was taken to the hospital.

Officials were called to the home at 2:35am.  WKMG is reporting that a woman was later seen taken into the hospital in a stretcher.

The TV station is also reporting that a blonde woman driving a black Escalade - similar to the one Woods was driving in his single-car accident - left the Ocree hospital later in the early morning.

Why wouldn't they?

The guy is worth hundreds of millions.

I know he probably has more than one car.

I’d just find it odd that he’d register two vehicles of the same make and model at the same time. It’s the only way you can get license plates that are one digit off.

how about his insurance getting him either a rental or a new car ? just a guess – Tiger’s insurance policy probably wouldn’t make drive a Kia sub-compact like most of us have to after a wreck. :-)

The Latest

It was Elin’s mother that was taken to the hospital…. What was she doing there if Elin has moved out?

by pingforever on Dec 8, 2009 11:35 AM EST reply actions

Yeah, I would think that Elin hadn’t moved then?

A woman having a stomach ache is national news?

The Tiger Woods story has jumped the shark multiple times.

Well

I’m not sure a simple stomach ache sends someone to the hospital. But yes, the coverage this morning (WITH HELICOPTERS FLYING OVER THE HOSPITAL!!!!!!) was idiotic.

Yeah, that seems ridiculous to over-cover this. I posted this just as an alert. I mean, we don’t know anything except that it’s Elin’s mom. That’s all we got. Could be literally anything that is ailing her.

This isn't the first time

A Florida media member thought a stomach ache was news. Yes Otis, people do claim to go to the hospital for stomach aches. Attorney Jose Baez did. There must be something in central Florida’s water that causes this.

When will the Des Moines Register call me about that case of food poisoning I got after eating at one of the City’s best known restaurants 22 years ago. I mean their reporters couldn’t be that busy.

look at the pictures that are everywhere – how in the world could it be reported that the grey haired woman was Elin…but I heard early reports that she was the one being taken to the hospital.

but her mom was taken away with some serious equipment strapped onto her face.

then again – Michelle Wie was taken to the hospital for “heat prostration”…on a sub-80 degree day. :-)

could happen again

Ms. Wie is playing in Dubai shortly. My guess is that her ankle will get heat stroke this time. buahaha ,Then again it all depends on how she is playing. Over par the first day ? she starts limping guuuuuuuuuuaranteeeed. JMHO..jumpn/progolf

LOL !!! She’s done it before – even during her win. One bad shot and she limped the next 2 holes until she made a birdie.

2 Houses as well

I understand they have 2 houses on the estate (presumably 2nd one for putting up guests). Perhaps Elin has simply moved to the 2nd house. The reporters wouldn’t know which house the ambulance left from if they are not allowed into the estate. Just guessing of course. Also oxygen quite often given for pain relief until hospital know more.

you think Elin would move out of the house and leave her aunt and mother in the house with Tiger ? That doesn’t make sense.

Still waiting

For someone to go into UTUBE and do another one of those crying videos, like they did for Brittney Spears, “Leave Tiger Alone” waaaaaaaaah

No CG

I meant that BOTH Elin & her mother were then in the 2nd house & the ambulance could have left from that one rather than the main residence – not that it is of any importance of course. It’s just that if I were in Elin’s position, some physical distance to give the little ones a chance of a “normal” atmosphere would be pretty important at this juncture.
