Of course your first point is correct….duh. I have a problem with your 2nd and 3rd points. Man and woman were made with a natural desire for the opposite sex…..this is not wrong. That desire is good, but can be perverted, just as eating is good, but eating too much can be bad. Seeing a beautiful woman and thinking, wow, she is gorgeous……is not being lustful. Seeing a beautiful woman and thinking, wow, I’d like sleep with her, would be lust. I believe it then becomes “adultery in your heart” when you actually desire to make it happen, which has nothing to do with having the “attributes to attract and entice females”. Whether or not you can make “it” happen or fear of getting caught is meaningless…..the desire to make it happen is the problem. I can tell you that I have never had sex with any woman but my wife, nor can I remember ever “committing adultery in my heart”. So, I’m not sure if I pass or fail your test……Jerk

and the third is “I would if I could, but no girl will let me, so I won’t”. My contention is you have ‘sinned’ almost equally in all three instances.

How about this? An alcoholic goes to a party and decides to have a drink after tens years sober. Because his wife is there he sneaks a drink by grabbing a glass that a friend places on the bar and gulps it down. Come to find out, it was simply water. Did he break his ten years of sobriety? He mentally took a drink…

And, the ‘jerk’ I mention is the guy who questions other people’s morals based what he considers poor behavior. I have sinned countless times in both the #2 & #3 categories, but I won’t denounce you if you did it also.

I understand, but the sin is “I would if I could” and has nothing to do with whether or not the girl complies. I know what you are trying to say, but I think your brush paints to broad a picture. Your alcoholic example actually agrees with what I am saying. The desire for alcohol is always there, but the “sin” was in the action of taking the drink with the intent of drinking alcohol…….regardless of what was in the glass. I was confused as to why you would finish your article with “You Jerk”, so I signed my comment Jerk. Also, as I said I haven’t wanted to sleep with another woman, besides my wife, so whether you denounce me or not has no effect on me, just as my comments on Tiger have no effect on him……go figure!

1. Public Sports figure in the world. Your looked at as a role model for kids around the world and are touted as such through your childrens foundation and constantly through the media. Married with a child. Wife is pregnant with a second child. You have accomplished almost every record there is in your sport. You took your marrrage vows under God. You have 100 times what most people could possibly have in thier lifetime. You spend part of the last 2 years of your life sneaking around having lurid affairs with skanky woman under the self appointed cover of wanting privacy cause you spend so much time out in public on a regular basis as is. YEAH I’d say Tiger qualifies for being a JERK…jumpn/progolf

That thought had occoured to me Ping, but you mentioned it first. If there is no love, then surly one would look elsewhere…or he plain just didn’t care that much.
