A Brief Heads Up About FanShots and FanPosts
Just wanted to make a brief carte blanch post with some guidelines for FanShots and FanPosts, as well as comments.
I know we have a number of new posters and commenters here because of this whole Tiger thing. Welcome to the site and the conversation. Happy to have you. We're a pretty strong community here at Waggle Room, and I always say that it's the people that come here that make this site what it is. And that's something I always want to be able to say, regardless of how many people visit this site.
So, some quick reminders and guidelines:
Please, please, please refrain from cussing. If you do it once, that's ok. But please don't make a habit of it, or I have to suspend your account or maybe ban you. I don't like to do that. I save that for people who post Viagra ads as spam.
Also, if you post a FanPost, DO NOT post an article from another site word for word. It's not ok. Waggle Room can be legally liable for reproducing content without permission and I don't have lawyers. Feel free to post quotes from pieces. If you want to post a whole article, just use a FanShot and post a link to it. I'll bump it to the front page, and you can still comment on it like any other post.
And a final notes on both FanPosts and FanShots: not all get onto the front page, but they're all visible and searchable from every page of the site. It doesn't mean I don't think your opinion or writing is good. Also, don't be offended if I pretty up your post by cleaning up grammar and spacing. I know that it's sometimes confusing to work in the post editor, so it's ok.
Again, welcome to Waggle Room and I'm glad to have you here!

What's for supper?
I’m hungry, too.

I don’t know – was hoping Ryan’s Dad would show up and take us all out. :-D
But I’m starting to lean towards a Publix wrap sammich or Captain D’s.

Crabs and Beer for everyone,Court with the money you got from the big post the other day can you help a brother out.:)
yikes – should we be talking about “crabs” in the middle of all this “easy women” talk ? :-)

Just thought I should get a cut for bringing in all the bloggers that donated to your high water mark. :o)

you got it….one extra large bucket of pride heading your way. :-D

Can you please go through all CG’s post and remove the space between the last letter of the sentence and the question mark? 8-D
Truth has a well-known liberal bias.
From what little I understand...
…about “Fair Use” it’s alright to quote a couple of paragraphs
"...it is well to remember that to miss a putt is not a criminal offense and does not prevent a man from being an excellent husband, father, and citizen." - Bernard Darwin
oops...posted too soon....
Anyway, it’s cool to quote a paragraph or two, as long as a link to the original piece is provided. That’s the rule-of-thumb I’ve generally heard, anyway.

Yeah, I can live with that. Just not the whole thing. The gist is good with a link.
