Play Fantasy Golf in 2010 With Waggle Room (In One of TWO Groups)!
Once again in 2010, Waggle Room will be having a fantasy golf league through Yahoo! Fantasy Sports. Last year, we gave away some great prizes and will continue to do so in 2010. We had about 30 people in the league last year, and I would love to grow it by more. Readers of Waggle Room, members of the blogosphere and media, and just other random people - c'mon and sign up! It's easy.

Due to overwhelming response - which, according to Yahoo! is 50 people - I needed to create a second group to handle the demand. The first group, Waggle Room Fantasy, lives on. Waggle Room Fantasy 2 was just created to handle an overflow between now and Wednesday evening.
Here's how to do it:
- Go to http://golf.fantasysports.yahoo.com
- Click Join Now and create your team
- Then after you create your team, click on Join A Group
- Type in the following info: Group #
42606780 and the password is golf (creative, eh?)
Then you're all set. For those of you that are new to fantasy golf, the concept is easy. Each week, you'll pick a team of PGA Tour players participating in that week's tournament. There are three flights - A, B, and C. You pick two players from the A & C flights, and four from the B flight. Each round, you'll pick one player from flights A & C, and two from B. You'll earn points based on how well they play during that round. Then, in the final round, your starting lineup can earn bonus points if they finish in the top three overall.
At the end of each month, we'll give away a prize to the team with the most points over all of that month's tournaments. We'll also have an end of season prize as well. And I'll help you along the way with fantasy advice each week!
It only takes ten minutes per week and it's a blast, so get in on it!

GIVE AWAYS
HEY Jumpin….did they come to you for any of them? Easing won’t play,. now that he has his new tools, all he wants to do is sit around, sip Sherry or Port and hold them…I know how these guys are after so many years of having to do with the old stuff…STUB
LMAO Stub !
I was gripping them last night with a large single malt !! I will try in the future not to look so obvious, lol.
SLIPPERY
HEY EASING…didn’t those grips get slippery from being gripped by a single malt?? LOL…Yur Beautiful Wife said you better take that grin off yur face too…A story for you…A good dear friend of mine, Jim Hayne, father of Sandra Hayne of LPGA hall of fame…I used to help Jim in his club repair business whenever he got over loaded…Well, Jim used to chip over a couch into a chair in the living room on occasion…One time, he missed the chair, and swung the wedge hard in frustration…Only, he also hit a ball and drove it through the back of the couch…He always wore a sweater of some sort, so he took the sweater and laid it over the hole…Stayed there for a couple of weeks..Mary Jane his wife, took the sweater off the couch to put it away, and when Jim came home that night, lo and behold, there was a NEW COUCH…Jim never said a word…better part of valor you know….STUB
commin at ya
OK GUYS…just signed up to play, got my 8 lady ..err sorry, 8 guys and I’m gommin at ya, so get off the tee box…STUB
Ok, I signed up. Where do we
get some instructions on how to play……is it 1 player from A and C or 1 player from A OR C?? Do you start over each round?? Help…..I feel like I’m being duped here….lol
Saints are killing me!!!!!!!!
You have to pick a roster of 6 guys, two from the A List, 4 from the B list, and 2 from the C list.
For each round you pick one of your two from the A list, two out of the four from you B List, and 1 of the two on your C list, to create your “foursome” for that round.
Then you can swap as the tournament goes along.
You can only use a player 10 times a season also.
Also, I signed up. :)

Yep – and when they start a division for “he was PRETTY close to making the cut, so we’ll give him credit for the pick” division, I’ll get back into the fantasy games. I had players calling BEGGING me to not pick them so they’d have a chance at making a paycheck.
"this ball will fit in that fairway"
C’mon, court, get in on it! We got like 60 people. There’s no way you finish last.
