Tiger Woods Injured in Car Accident; Theories Abound As to Reason for Crash
The Orlando Sentinel is reporting that Tiger Woods was seriously injured in a car accident near his Isleworth home outside fo Orlando, Florida.
Woods, 33, pulled out of his driveway in the Isleworth community about 2:25 a.m. when he struck a fire hydrant, and then drove into a tree at his neighbor's property, FHP reported.
Woods was transported to Health Central Hospital in Ocoee in serious condition, FHP said. No other information about his condition has been released.
A Health Central hospital employee said at 2:30 p.m. that Woods was not a patient. A hospital operator would not say if Woods had been treated and released.
FHP said the airbags in Woods' Cadillac Escalade did not deploy, which means the vehicle was traveling under 33 mph.
Tiger Woods' agent, Mark Steinberg, told CNBC's Darren Rovell that Woods is "fine." He made no mention of the facial lacerations reported by police.
This is a bizarre situation considering the timing of the accident and Deadspin sees through it. The accident occurred just one day after the National Enquirer's release of their story claiming that Woods has been engaged in an extramarital affair with New York City socialite Rachel Uchitel.
Also, the timing of the accident itself is especially bizarre. An accident at 2:30 am places Tiger as leaving his house to do something at that time of night on Thanksgiving. There are only so many theories that can explain Woods' departure from his home at that time: an emergency situation, a sudden need to run to 7-11, or an argument with his wife Elin regarding the Uchitel story and its truth.
There has been a denial of the affair from the Woods camp, but there are also murmurs from within the golf community that the affair is true. Of course, all of this is unfounded and not confirmed.
Still, it is not hard to put two and two together here to get four.
UPDATE: The Associated Press' Doug Ferguson reported that Elin Nordigren rushed outside of the Woods home after she heard the accident and broke the back window of Tiger's Escalade in order to extricate Woods from the car.
That description has raised questions by Sports by Brooks because Ferguson - a well-known close media associate with Woods - did not mention the police report's wording of a domestic issue at the Woods estate that happened before the accident.

I'll also remind people
It is easy to jump to conclusions or say things that are dead wrong when its breaking news.
The State Department was bombed on 9-11
President Reagan’s Press secretary was killed
I can go on.

Instead of waiting for the facts to come out and the true story to be told, by all means watch the cables news channels as they literally make it up as they go along. It’s even more fun to pretend if you pretend they know what they are talking about.
Truth is, time after time, electronic news organizations have distinguished themselves…as not knowing what they hell they are talking about and also for sensationalizing what they do know to make it sound all the more lurid.
Only a few weeks from the Balloon Boy story, the news folks are right back at it and people are all ears…again…proving for the 3,345,875,454th time that P.T. Barnum was right: “there’s a sucker born every minute.”

Why??
“All of this is unfounded and not confirmed”
So why do you go ahead and publish it?
“Still it is not hard to put two and two together to get four”
There you go again.
As Mr. Jemty said, 3:38 pm, “It is easy to jump to conclusions…”
Don't worry, nothing will be allright.

Definitely seems like the Sentinel overblew Tiger’s injuries. Facial lacerations aren’t bad. But why out at 230 on thanksgiving?

Cadillac Escalade?
I’m stunned to find out he isn’t still pushing a Buick.
