A couple of fellas in Lake County, Illinois, are being held on $1 million bond for running a personalized logo golf ball scam, according to the AP.

Marco Maggiore and Lloyd Morris conned dozens of businesses and charities into paying for golf balls to be inscribed with their logos, and never delivered any balls. 

Here's the tip off that this was a scam: they promised these organizations personalized ProV1 balls at one-third their retail price
