The Golf Schmorgasblog! It's Back!
Every now and then (10 days?), I like to put together one big post with some links to great blog writing from the golf blogosphere in the Milky Blog galaxy. Today is one of those days. So, here we go!
Tonight is the induction of the 2009 class of the World Golf Hall of Fame, including Dwight Eisenhower, Lanny Wadkins, and JM Olazabal. Jay Busbee has a preview for you at DBG. Arnie's gonna be there!
We ran the video of the Callaway sex ad the other day and got some nice links from blogging pals. Unfortunately, I wasn't first to find the video. It was Nice Ballz, who is returning now from a bit of a hiatus (aka having a personal life).
From the Fanhouse shop, there is a great profile of Army veteran Donny Alston, his amazing golf talent despite having just one leg, and how Champions Tour dynamo Brad Bryant is so passionate about getting Alston out on the 50+ circuit.
Our pal Old Man Par has the news that the Pebble Beach event will be reduced to a much more normal 156 players - down from 180.
Live in a city and can't get to the golf course? Well, just make one up on the streets! That's the idea behind urban golf, and Neil at Armchair Golf has an example in the Windy City (where I'll be this weekend).
Big ups to Heather from Real Women Golf for ending her golf year with a 10.0 handicap index!
And, finally, we end on how to best summarize the PGA Tour's first total washout since 1996: with a limerick from Mike Southern at Ruthless Golf.

Me & Bo Derek
Thanks for golf love! Funny though, Bo Derek was a “10,” I wanted to be a 9.
