Nothing Major: A Fun Compilation of Golf Stories

Bob Cayne made a career for himself in the golf world as a tournament organizer, marketing consultant, and talk show host in Cleveland. The combined experience gave him a lot of fond memories and conversations with golfers about their love of the game. So, he compiled those stories into a book that he titles ...Nothing Major.
A good number of the stories predate my involvement with golf, so the book was actually both entertaining and educational for me.
I learned that Butch Harmon actually used to work in Morocco, which really explains why he is in Vegas now.
I got great stories of golf travels from Gary Player.
I learned a lot about the heyday of Australian golf in the 20th century.
And it's a quick read. I read it on a plane ride between Baltimore and Chicago. But, it's something that I can refer to again and again for good quotes or good stories.
You can purchase the book for $14.95 - with a personalized autograph (thanks, Bob!) at http://nothingmajor.net.

I remember the day Bob Cayne
shot that 59. (score card on cover of book)
It had been drizzling and he was way under par, but needed a witness to authenticate his score. I stayed with him the whole time. I got soaking wet, caught pneumonia and almost died.
Bob, if you read this, contact me and I’ll give you the address to send the free book. It’s the very least you can do.
