I’d say they have the bunkers figured out – Furyk chipping in and Yang stopping a long bunker shot within a few feet.
Dottie Pepper continues to remind me why she shouldn’t be calling men’s tournaments. She has no idea how good these guys are, how far they hit the ball, and what kind of trouble they can get out of while saving shots. That shot Mickelson hit with the ball on the downslope of grass outside a fairway bunker. Dottie said it was impossible to get to the green – Mickelson hits it nearly hole high.

Great to see Ryo coming back after yesterday. I’m rooting for Sean, however. Do you think too much has been said (particularly by Michael Jordan) about him just needing more confidence? Has it had the opposite effect on him?
I’m pretty sure those MJ comments and rumors have been written into the broadcast talking points that are supposed to be discussed at least three times an hour. :-) O’Hair played some great shots yesterday, and I haven’t seen enough of him today to see what’s going on there.
To listen to the media, you’d think MJ was taking O’Hair into an ashram and getting him into a mystical trance. The truth is probably more like MJ hanging out with O’Hair just talking about things.
Hmm – down 2 to the Internationals – maybe just not a good day for ham and egging for them.
