A REAL Course Tour of Harding Park
After we poked a little fun at the routing used at Harding Park for the Pres Cup (that actually makes good sense), our friend "Venerable One" Brett Avery dropped me a link with is legitimate and insightful course map of the Pres Cup venue. It has flyovers, maps, and stats from when the WGC American Express Championship was played there in 2005. Check it out!

picking and choosing the best holes on the property makes sense – but there are some seriously long walks between some greens and tees. Reminds me of TPC Sugarloaf without the huge hills. The trip around Sugarloaf (where the old Bellsouth / AT&T Atlanta Classic was played) was right around 8 miles because of the distances between greens and tees. Harding can’t be that bad.

NOTHING is as bad as Sugarloaf for walking.
