Gary Nicklaus threw his name in the hat for the first stage of Q-school last weekend in a bid to return to the PGA Tour after a six year hiatus. He didn't get through the first round, so what was the guy to do?
Simple. Become the Vice Chairman of your legendary golf dad's companies.
Gary Nicklaus, one of Jack Nicklaus' four sons, has been appointed vice chairman of the Nicklaus Companies, company officials have announced.
Hey, Dad! Why couldn't you be a legendary golfer and give me a fall back plan like Gary?
Don't worry, you still retain your title as World's Greatest Dad.
