Looks Like We're Gonna Need A Golf Czar
Clearly, President Obama's golf schedule has to be regulated and highly scrutinized. CBS News' Mark Knoller also clearly has a LOT of time on his hands.
CBS' Mark Knoller — an unofficial documentarian and statistician of all things White House-related — wrote on his Twitter feed that, "Today - Obama ties Pres. Bush in the number of rounds of golf played in office: 24. Took Bush 2 yrs & 10 months."
This news comes on the heels of today's news that Obama played golf with a woman — chief domestic policy adviser Melody Barnes — for the first time since taking office.
You know, the sad this is that Dwight Eisenhour played over 800 rounds of golf while in office.
I find it really funny that there's any kind of uproar about the number of women that Obama has played golf with in his tenure. Almost every married man in America that golfs is probably in the same deep doo-doo for the same reason: always spending too much time golfing with the fellas.
But, since President Obama already has some 40 czars for stuff, what's another? We'll have a golfing czar to make sure Obama plays courses that are public and not receiving any kind of federal bailout.
Oh wait, golf was intentionally left out of the stimulus bill.

Wait, I thought I heard my chain rattling...
I think I’ll abstain from this one, though.
