Proof That Anthony Kim is NOT Golf's Current John Daly

The Sportress of Blogitude made a good catch on John Daly's Twitter feed the other day.  The Amazing Shrinking Daly posted the secret to his weight loss success following lapband surgery.  He termed it the Daly Workout.

That's some nice work, John.  The guy is just shedding pounds thanks to a lapband, a self-constrictive diet to 500 calories per day, a packet of smokes, and resting in the arms of a butterfly press.

Meanwhile, Anthony Kim isn't even working out - at least all that hard.  In 2007 at the Bob Hope, Kim told reporters about his workout regimen:

I need to get on a workout program where I'm not sore after every workout. Because out here, you have six, seven hours to kill after every round.

Daly's outworking AK.  And AK still laid the smackdown on Robert Allenby.

Can you imagine what Daly would have won by if he played Allenby?  Daly would make Woods' 9 & 8 against Stephen Ames in the 2006 WGC Match Play Championship look like a 1 up squeaker.

Daly would win 10 & 8.  (That's the best he could do, short of Allenby spontaneously combusting on the 2nd tee out of fear of the Wrath of Daly.)

Holy cow ! I had to bring this to my big monitor to make sure that was Daly. Old John could have swallowed New John whole !! He looks like he did when he won the PGA.

Maybe someone should tell AK that if you work out consistently, the pain goes away when you get used to the work.

Wow, he is looking great these days. Hang up the Marlboro Lights next, Big Little John.

I think AK may be gaming people a little bit about his working out, too. He’s no 100 pound weakling.
