Golf Pride V-Rad Ryder Cup Themed Putter Grips

The folks at Golf Pride contacted me about some grips they have designed especially for the Ryder Cup.  They are a part of their V-Rad line of putter grips.

Here's a look at what I got today (which is timely because I need a new putter grip and now I can express my patriotism!)

Star-divide

From a 2007 press release:

They are crafted with a proprietary advanced composite rubber (ACR) material to enhance feel and durability, while maintaining the performance and quality standards expected of Golf Pride grips. The exclusive, innovative material is engineered to combine a smooth, subtle surface texture with the optimal amount of tackiness to encourage a light, controlled grip on the putting surface.

V-RAD's unique semi-pistol shape - with a flat front and smooth rounded corners - fits the widest range of hand sizes and provides a satisfying feel for truer putts, regardless of a golfer's gripping style. It features one-piece construction that makes it as easy to install as conventional golf grips.

The grips are comfortable and beautiful and I'm looking forward to getting one of them on my ole Wilson 8802!

They didn't

But Amazon has new ones for $8/grip. I’d imagine maybe a dollar more for these special grips.

Also

Saw one on another site for $7. Depends on where you look, I suppose.
