RSN ???
Anybody know what RSN is ? I've never heard of it, so I'm guessing I don't have it on cable.

Think Fox SportsNet for Canada. They’ve televised the Women’s Canadian Open for at least the last couple of years. Their exclusive rights in Canada is what prevents GC from televising the event live (since GC is available in Canada).

There are like 3 sports networks in Canadia – TSN (owned by ESPN), Rogers SportsNet (like Comcast SportsNet), and some other one that I forget the name of.

So the LPGA, in all their wisdom, basically cut out their largest viewing audience for most of the tournament. This is what – their fourth or fifth biggest purse of the year – and a national title to boot ?
According to LPGA.com, xxx Golf Channel will be showing 2 1/2 hours of the third round late in the evening on Saturday.

Found another link that says xxx Golf Channel has 9-11:30pm coverage of the 4th round. Guess it just didn’t fit into the box on LPGA.com.

sort of...
…a couple of years ago, THE Golf Channel got pretentious on us and decided they wanted to just be called “Golf Channel”. I HATE pretentious names like that (kind of like golf course with “at” in them) – besides, 90% of the time you need a “the” in front of it to make a sentence sound halfway normal.
SO – as a sort of protest to the name change, I just put xxx in place of “The”.
