Kind of reminds me of an old Joke...

Looking at the men’s world rankings, money list, and Fedex Cup points reminds me of an old joke.

The Washington State Cougars [or insert your team name here] were playing the Washington Huskies [or insert rival’s name here] in a football game. The Cougars got mad about a bad call by the official and left the field. Ten plays later the Huskies scored.

Obviously Tiger won’t win the Fedex cup or lead the money list by the end of the year but what’s the over/under on when he does get passed on those lists? I’m willing to go out on a limb here and predict that he will NOT lose his number one world ranking before he comes back.

you're right

It’s going to take long enough for someone to pass him on THIS year’s money and Fed Ex Cup lists – much less make up enough points to pass him on the rankings list. Mickelson would have to play three times a month, winning all three, then win all the playoffs and Tour Championship to get close – and we all know that Mickelson doesn’t work that hard. Kenny Perry has three wins and a couple of runner up finishes and he’s only moved up to 16th in the rankings – and that’s in the area where it should be easy to shoot up the rankings in a hurry. I figured he would be top 10 by now – but it just ain’t so.

oh, no...

Are Koreans “taking over” the JLPGA too? Four of the top ten makes you wonder, eh?

Yen sign

I wonder who decided to make the lobster the official symbol of the Japanese monetary system ? :-)

but only 1 of the next 10

Although Esther Lee and Ji-Woo Lee are right there in the top 25—that makes 7. With Bo-Bae Song playing in Evian (the only top 20 JLPGA member to miss their Players Championship that I know of), I’m wondering if she has LPGA Q-School on her mind.
