Should the engraver get to work?
The LPGA is in Toledo for the Jamie Farr Classic and guess who is -2 and tied for the lead through 5 holes? The Korean Golf Queen aka Se Ri Pak, a five time winner of the Farr. If this was any other tournament or golfer, you would say there is a lot of golf left. There is, but the early signs from Toledo say Se Ri may well may have a 6-Pak when play finishes late Sunday afternoon.

Pink Panther shoots 60
Looks like Ms. Creamer might spoil that party.

so you're saying...
...that she’s insulating herself from the rest of the field ? (dead ant – dead ant – dead ant dead ant dead ant) :-)

Look what happens while I'm at the doctor
The Pink Panther goes out and breaks Se Ri’s record round of 61. Jose Maria Olazabel once won the WS of Golf by 12 shots after shooting a first round 61 in 1990. If Paula runs away with the Farr like that, I think I’ll be watching Hogan’s Heroes on TV Land instead. Nothing against Paula, runaway golf tournaments bore me.(More so because Sunday’s final round will be on tape delayed)

this season...
...4 of the 5 the people who shot 62 that I know of did not win that week: Miho Koga, Angela Stanford, Angela Park, and Jane Park. The only 1 to win was Akane Iijima, and she ended up only winning by 2.

what about the other rounds ?
It’s tough following up a great round…
62 (-10)
Angela Stanford, Safeway International Presented by Coca-Cola, 1st round Par 72 – she started fast, but got progressively worse as the week went on – up to a +2 74 on Sunday.
Last week – half the field went low – AP and JP had the one good round, but average rounds the other two days
Angela Park, P&G Beauty NW Arkansas Championship Presented by John Q. Hammons, 2nd round (71 – 62 – 70)
Jane Park, P&G Beauty NW Arkansas Championship Presented by John Q. Hammons, 3rd round (71 – 69 – 62)
who the heck are Miho Koga and Akane Iijima ? I only see them in two LPGA events this year – and nothing with a win or a 62.

Be careful
The joke about a man who finds a bottle with a genie inside it. He wishes to be made irresistable to all women. The Genie turns the man into a giant box of chocolates.
