Just a quick programming note: The 18-hole playoff between Tiger Woods and Rocco Mediate for the U.S. Open title will be televised by ESPN beginning at noon (ET), then by NBC from 2 p.m. (ET) until conclusion.

How about the gallery there today ? WOW ! (they probably came out so they didn’t have to listen to Johnny Miller on TV) :-)
Tiger looks like he’s pretty comfortable – not really going after his tee shots like he has been. Maybe he doesn’t feel pressured to go at it so hard with Rocco being so short (comparatively) ?

I've read a lot of instruction books...
...and I have NEVER heard of most of the garbage…err…shots that Johnny Miller is spewing out. What the heck is a “one hop spin bury” ? Tiger just hit one into the back bunker at 7. Earlier, Miller was warning Rocco about hitting his hybrid into the green, not wanting him to hit a “pull goer”.
Otay panky. You’re going to have to publish a Miller to English translation guide.
