... but Michelle Wie played 18 holes today without making a bogey! Shocking! She's still five shots off the lead at the Ladies German Open, however. Nina Reis went 8-under.

how about that

a good round for the Wie-meister.

I wonder if she even bothered to bring a driver to the course. This is a 6200 yard course at a little bit of altitude with only two par 5’s barely over 500 yards. (I’m sure elevation changes are a factor on this course – the other two are 441 and 463 yards)

ummm…stu…better change the batteries in that calculator – she’s four shots off the lead. :-)

d'oh!

Somehow I managed to read her score as 3-under when she’s actually 4-under …. wow, she’s even better than I thought!!! :)

speaking of 3 under...

did you see these two names ?

Mianne Bagger of Denmark – former crappy male golfer who couldn’t hack it…had himself hacked and is now playing with the girls.

and a name that is now my favorite golf name of all time - Lotta Wahlin - from Sweden – if there was ever a name that described my game, that’s it.

wow

beat Yang by 3—not half bad.

what is it with Nina Reis, Veronica Zorzi, and Louise Stahle? at the bottom of the Junior Mint pack on the LPGA, and off to fairly disappointing starts to their LET/LPGA campaigns, so of course they go out and shoot 64, 67, 68!

maybe Ashleigh Simon needs some time in Europe to rejuvenate her game!

come on Con...

...it’s pretty obvious – they saw the list and decided that they were better than their ranking and did something about it. (that’s my story and I’m stickin’ to it)

I like your theory!

And I guess I can take credit for Inbee Park’s resurgence—right after I dropped her to #5 in her class a few months ago, she started racking up top 10s….

Perhaps the last 2 weeks on the LPGA are a result of Jason Sobel’s claims in his Weekly 18, then….
