U.S. Open Sectionals Under Way

PrintCraig Parry and Artemio Murakami (of the Philippines) are the first two golfers to get into the U.S. Open through sectional qualifying.
The fist 36-hole sectional took place in Osaka, Japan, with Parry and Murakami grabbing the two spots available. Among those failing to make it were "Coy Prince" Ryo Ishikawa, Hideto Tanihara, Wen-Chong Liang and Prayad Marksaeng.
Fifteen more sectionals take place on June 2. You can see the locations here.
