New LPGA TV Deal?
Jon Snow reports on the possibilities....
(Editor's note: Bumped up to the front page because the article spells out some very ingriguing possibilities for the LPGA. Carolyn Bivens was slammed hard and according to some accounts nearly the victim of rebellion in her first year. But it seems to me she's been doing a whole lot of things right since that rocky start as LPGA commissioner. Getting a network TV deal on which the LPGA actually makes money would be a major coup.)

$8-$12 million ANNUALLY ?? Didn’t the CBS or NBC guy pull out a credit card or maybe just pull out his petty cash money clip ?? These networks spend more than that each week on their big TV series’. They could broadcast tournaments with no commercial breaks and never break a sweat. (then again – we might have to listen to these same broadcasters, and a three hour slot with no breaks would make people’s ears bleed)
